If you’re like me and desperately need a change, glam up your tresses with one of these chic hairstyles, perfect for a fancy dinner or night out on the town with your girls.
1. THE ROMANTIC PIN-BACK
1. Start by applying a thickening product, like Bumble and Bumble Prep, throughout your tresses.
2. Using a round brush blow-dry the ends of your hair under and create a side part down the middle of your scalp.
3. Apply a dime-size amount of finishing product, like the SILK Protein Treatment from Salon Grafix, to the ends of your hair, working your way up to your scalp. Be careful not to apply too much product though as your roots tend to be much oiler than your ends. A little should go a long way!
4. Next, grab a 2-inch section of hair from each side of your head (near your temples) and brush until smooth.
5. Loosely twirl the strands until they resemble ribbons.
6. Finally, pull back both sections of hair and secure them with your chicest clip near the center of your head.

2. A SLEEK, CENTER PART BEND
1. To give your locks a soft, airy shine, apply a product like Prive Weightless Amplifier from the roots to the ends on damp hair.
2. Part your hair in the center, and using a medium-sized, round bore bristle brush, blow dry your strands sleek and straight.
3. Take large sections of your hair and wrap them around a 1 ½” barrel curling iron just once at the mid-shaft, leaving out your ends. You don’t want a strong wave or curl, just a slight bend.
4. Lastly, create shine and smooth flyaways at your crown with Prive Flash Brilliance, and gently brush your hair from roots to ends to finish off the look.

3. SULTRY WAVES
1. Before you do anything, apply a heat-protecting product like Alterna Bamboo Smooth Anti-Breakage Thermal Protectant Spray throughout your hair, from scalp to ends.
2. Start this style by using a mousse or a volumizing foam, such as Salon Grafix Instant Volume Spray Foam, throughout your hair (especially at your roots).
3. Position your head upside down, and proceed to blow dry your tresses towards the ground. Gravity should do the rest!
4. Using large, heated rollers, gently roll medium-sized sections of your hair underneath and secure the rollers with heatproof clips. Allow at least 5-10 minutes for your curls to take shape before removing them.
5. Remove your rollers and brush out the loose curls to create soft, subtle waves. Be careful not to over-brush though.
6. Last but not least, apply a shine serum to the ends of your hair and you’re ready to hit the town in style!
