3 Trendy Ponytails to Try This Summer

Hello again! It’s Jenny with StylushHair once more with my series of three simple tutorials to help you spice up that summer ponytail. As I said before, you can wear these anywhere from a day at the beach to a night on the town! Feel free to add a flower, colored ponytail holder or pretty barrette to personalize this look and make it yours.
This first pony look I showed you was The Tousled Pony. This look is theRomantic Wrapped Side Ponytail. I hope you love it!

1. Start with dry textured hair. Your hair doesn’t have to be curly, but make sure it has some grip to it. You can add a little hairspray or try a spray gel during blow drying to achieve some texture.
2. Section off a triangle section of hair starting from your crown down to your recession at your hair line and clip it.
3. Secure a loose side ponytail with a rubber band.
4. Take a half inch piece of hair, wrap it around your rubber band and secure with a small bobby pin.
5. Drop the top section.
6. Add a loose twist going back towards your pony and secure ends with a hair pin.
7. Hairspray for hold and texture.
